Western State Bank to Open New Branch in Deer Valley Area

Western State Bank has announced plans to open a new branch in the Deer Valley Financial Center, located in northern Phoenix.

The new branch (22601 N. 19th Ave.) will primarily serve businesses, with a focus on commercial/industrial lending and commercial real estate loans. Remodeling work is underway at the new location, and it’s expected to open in July 2021.

“We look forward to expanding our business banking services to the Deer Valley area,” said Andy Strand, Chief Credit Officer and Regional President. “We’re confident that area businesses will appreciate our experienced business banking team, and the opportunity to work with a strong community bank.”

The Deer Valley location will be Western State Bank’s seventh in Arizona. The company was founded in North Dakota in 1902 and entered the Arizona market in 2008. It was named Bankrate’s Best Regional Bank in 2019 and 2020. For 67 consecutive quarters, the company has earned a five-star rating from Bauer Financial, a trusted and independent research firm.
