Western Achievement Scholarship Application

Western State Bank awards Western Achievement Scholarships annually to area students who plan to continue their education at post-secondary institutions. Each scholarship is $500.

To apply, students must meet the following criteria:

1. Receive a high school diploma or GED by June 15, 2025,
2. Be admitted to an accredited post-secondary institution as a full-time student,
3. Be registered and enrolled for the fall 2025 semester, and
4. Be a Western State Bank customer who is a full-time college student or high school senior.

Please complete and submit your application below by March 17, 2025. Attach additional documents if necessary. The scholarship committee will select recipients based on information provided on this application. Recipients will be notified by April 1, 2025. The awarded scholarship will be mailed to the post-secondary institution in late June to be applied to the fall 2025 semester. A limit of one scholarship award per recipient for the duration of the program.

Applicants may also request a paper copy of the application at their bank location and return it completed to be entered.
